It's a 1366X768 res. HDTV with 1000:1 contrast and 8ms response time. On paper everything looks in order. The devil is in the details. without actually seeing and messing with the tv it is hard to say whether it is worth it. The specs are comparable to other sets in its class. Numbers aren't everything though.
No, please do yourself a favor and avoid buying any of Wal-Mart's no-name cheap-o brands. Everything looks good on paper (well actually 1000:1 contrast isn't too impressive) but if you look at in the store you'll see it's ugly as hell.

when i saw the brand symphonic is said hells no, get you tv from a electronics store you'll be happy you did http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5359008 I say go with this one its only $48 more and has hdmi this won I recommend
