It's a 1366X768 res. HDTV with 1000:1 contrast and 8ms response time. On paper everything looks in order. The devil is in the details. without actually seeing and messing with the tv it is hard to say whether it is worth it. The specs are comparable to other sets in its class. Numbers aren't everything though.

No, please do yourself a favor and avoid buying any of Wal-Mart's no-name cheap-o brands. Everything looks good on paper (well actually 1000:1 contrast isn't too impressive) but if you look at in the store you'll see it's ugly as hell.

1000:1 is terrible and 8ms reponse time will lead to ghosting

lol are you making stuff up? the lcd right now can only do 1600:1 conrast, and i though 12 ms or less is just good.

it says its 1366x768 and no name brands are not always bad. i say go for it if u dont like it return it
