I would second that recommendation.Ā  That case likely isn't large enough to accommodate an 8800 (GTS or GTX).

leave it as it is because i doubt an 8xxx series or 2xxx cards could fit inside that case.

Dont get VIsta home basic. Get at least home premium, which is the best for home use. Home basic is for those computers that cant handle aero glass. Home basic doesnt have aer. And it doesnt have many other functions.

It's worth pointing out that you can buy a SATA DVD RW drive for that price. Hardly a big deal, but it will get ribbon cables out of your machine entirely.

GO on Vista official website and you will se the comparison betwen ultimate, homepremium, bussines, and home basic. Of all the functions, ultimate has all, bussines, little less than a half, i think, home premium a little more than half, and home basic only 2 out of somweher around 10-14 functions.

no, you said home basic isnt best for home usage. i know whats the difference b/w basic and premium, what i want is you to tell me what exactly is that feature that makes the premium better for home usage?Ā

NoĀ iĀ sadĀ thatĀ homeĀ premiumĀ isĀ theĀ bestĀ forĀ homeĀ usage.Ā HomeĀ basic,Ā isĀ forĀ thoseĀ PCsĀ thatĀ hasĀ graphicsĀ cardĀ worseĀ thanĀ x1300,Ā orĀ 7300.Ā

AndĀ theĀ featureĀ thaĀ makesĀ homeĀ premiumĀ betterĀ forĀ homeĀ usageĀ are:Ā movieĀ maker,Ā aero,Ā mediaĀ center,Ā andĀ stuffĀ likeĀ that.Ā
