onboard video is always atrocious. pick up a 70-100 dollar video card off newegg and you'll be set. if you're doing vista, i suggest another gig or two of ram as well.

If you even care about playing those games slightly well, onboard video is ALWAYS bad. Last computer I ran with onboard couldn't play world of warcraft right (the game designed to play on any hardware)

i suggest the HD 4850 i would have suggested the hd 4870, which is a little over 200$, but i'm not sure your PSU can take it.

GTS 250 is slightly more powerful than a 4850, and also has low power requirements. It may also be slightly more expensive- your call.

I would up the ram to 4gb especially on vista and put in a decent $100 graphics card. you will be set then.:)

I also would go with a gtx 260 core 216. You can pick those up for about $220 now. and they are about the same performance as the gtx 280.

To run the games you wanna run, the GTX9800 or HD4870 are more than enough. You can get either/or under $200 easily.

Examples: (links)

HD4870

9800GTX+

Yah, you'll definately need higher PSU. 650 could be low, but that depends on the brand too.

For one you're ok, but for SLI, 650 "could" be fine but that depends on the brand of PSU. I don't really know as far as power consumption, I just try to stay safe and go about 100w higher.

I use this one for my setup and it's been flawless. For the price, it's amazing. I was recommended it from here even. 8)

I don't know much about the "Sparkle" brand, they're probably ok, just sounds cheap. lol I prefer to stick with EVGA/XFX type brands for Nvidia just cause I've heard lots of good things about them. But that's just personal opinion, you might wanna wait for others opinions. ;)

Get that one. It's the cheapest and it's EVGA (which is a very good brand).

At that price, you might as well spend $20 more and get the GTX 260.

Pick up atleast a 8800GT,9600GT,9800GT, 9800GTX or GTX 250. They get better from left to right but all are around the same.

YES! way to go but GTS 250 would have been better for your PSU as ita not power hungry. But still the 4870 beats it by 13% (performance wise). But I'm happy for you, and you got 4GB more of RAM. Gj!!
