Why even bother asking how it is after you already bought it?JigglyWiggly_To learn for future purchases maybe...?
[QUOTE="JigglyWiggly_"]Why even bother asking how it is after you already bought it?MythPro1To be reaffirmed and validated that you made a wise purchase. Seems a bit silly doing that after you bought it lol.

Not at all. It's actually quite normal.
Buyer's Remorse
Also why services like Cablevision or IO continue to advertise their services to people who are already customers. People like to be given reassurance for making a sound decision.

This post is abnormal now.I'm very bad when it comes to Computer Hardware but I bought my PC for $1000 and here are the specs Dell XPS 8300 1.35 TB Hard Drive 8 GB of Ram Intel Core i7 2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz. 3.40 GHz 64 bit operating systemSirKelwguy
well it's hard to say since you failed to post your gpu, mobo(not sure if 8300 has anything to do with the mobo model), and maybe even your psu.
Sorry for not checking this post sooner but I believe the Graphic card is a ATI Radeon HD 5770 SirKelwguy
Its definitely not the newest or greatest but it's still decent. Im using a mobile 5870 which roughly equivalent to that but maybe a tad worse and Im running most ports at high and games like Crysis, Arma 2 and Stalker on medium. Your processor is also much better than mine so you will probably have better results than me.

You kind of got ripped, unless of course you got a really nice monitor with it. Then again if you don't know how to build a PC (which really mean you don't want to learn how), which would have saved you hundreds of dollars, you don't have much choice.

You exaggerated. I built his system on newegg for around $950. He didn't save, but he didn't lose that much.
Of course, I could have made it cheaper, but I'm pretty sure I got the parts roughly correct.
The big problem is the video card. I don't really get why big companies put like 8 gigs of ram in, put an awesome cpu in, and then put something like a 5770 in the computer. Just doesn't make sense to me.You exaggerated. I built his system on newegg for around $950. He didn't save, but he didn't lose that much.

Mischievity
He could've built something that had similar gaming performance for like $700 or less, and I doubt he'll really use that i7.

You'll hear people here talking about building ur own PC and getting parts cheaper etc etc... but they don't seem to understand some people don't KNOW how to build a PC or aren't interested in it. The purchase is valid for that amount of money and you should be fine playing modern games.
