Hey,

On cyberpowerpc.com, I priced out a PC that totaled just over $800. Here are the specs. Is this thing good? Will it handle games on high qualitites?

its ok but i would build your own.

eg:

MoBo: Asus nForce 780i $125

CPU: intel core 2 duo e8400 $168

GPU: XFX gtx 260 core edition $180

RAM: Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) 800MHz DDR2 $47

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB $100

CD/DVD DRIVE: just a cheap good one $25

Case: XCLIO Blackhawk $100

PSU 550w (comes free with the case)

total price: $745

all from newegg

I'd build your own. It's not that hard and that processor is kind of weak :P

if that PSU is a generic type then it might not be good enough for that 4870. So if you don't want to build it yourself then geta computerfrom that company with a Corsair PSU and a weak video card then get a 4890 from newegg and install it. Oh yeah and get a quad core preferably a i7 920. But what you picked is not worth $800 even though the 4870 1 gig is a very good card the rest isn't up to par.
