It needs 4GB of RAM, not 2GB. And that graphics card is terrible for gaming. You'll want it to have an ATI 5670 or better, or an Nvidia GT240 or better.

The GPU isnt for gaming, everything else is good. I would change the GPU to at least a 5670

I think you'd be able to get by with as low as 2GB if you were really hard on cash. I tried Crysis with only one of my 2GB RAM sticks for the lulz, and the only difference I noticed was about 10 extra seconds to load the game. He can get the other 2GB when he has the money.

Perhaps, but I know that it depends on the OS and the game. Crysis doesn't hog RAM like some games. I used to play Crysis without any RAM hitching (you know the effect, HDD swapping and what-not) on my old A64 x2 system with 2GB of DDR. There are games that demand more RAM than Crysis. Also, I was running XP. I don't think things would've gone quite so well if I were running Vista x64.

I would definitely agree that the GPU needs to be the first priority in this case.

I'm not normally so mean but this dude asks for some help but makes a post thats barely readable. Seriously, the OP needs to use some common sense.

Don't post like you don't care and then expect other people to care.

I know the budget is pretty low and his post is like a wall of bright text. But I'm assuming he is young so I didn't bother coming down on him. Plus gamespot mods are pretty strict. :|

thats a decent pc, but not a gaming pc. For an extra 200-300 (price of a console), it would be a good gaming machine.

Just change the video card.. that's all. People have already made suggestions, you can always get more ram another time.

No need for douches like you around here, I mean c'mon what if its just a kid who doesnt have the $$$$ yet for a good gaming PC, think before you type.
