Hi everyone, I was wondering what you guys think of this system I'm thinking of buying.

- AMD Phenom II X2 555 Dual Core (3.2Ghz) Black edition

- AMD 770 Chipset

- 4GB Kit DDR3 -1333Mhz Dual Channel (2x2GB)

- Hitachi 500GB SATA II, 7200RPM

- ATIHD5870

- 550watt 'Quiet' PSU

The whole system comes to $1414AUD. I was wondering if this system would cut it as a gaming pc for the next 2 years. Do u guys think this thing can run Crysis at 'very high' settings without AA or AF? I'm using Crysis as a benchmark, because if this system can handle it, it would most probably handle other modern games.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated:)

Very nice! Is it possible for you to upgrade that CPU to an X4 instead? That will cover your back as more and more games coming out now use 4 cores properly.

Also what Windows version are you going to use?

It only costs an extra $60.00AUD to upgrade the CPU to the x4 925 Quad Core (2.8Ghz), so I might go for it. And regarding the OS, i havent considered it yet. I might just go Windows 7 Home Premium 32.

Get the 64Bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium, if you go 32Bit you wont be using all of your RAM.

Change to an X4, it might help you in the future. Also, get Windows 7. Your GPU is perfect.

Thats eems likea great system and video card will last you a long time considering the way pc gaming has been lately. It will have no problems with Crysis and Crysis 2 is also comming out sometime this year.

And get the 64 bit version of windows specially for games.

Are you buying it or building it yourself?
