I plan to be playing some high requirement games like Skyrim and GTA V. Will this monitor work well?

You could probably get a better deal, but not by much. That monitor would be ok for gaming, I also have a 21.5" model and it's ok for a desk, gotta use a zoom page addon for Firefox, tho, cuz high pixel density means letters are pretty small. I think 23"-24" would be ideal.
That is not much of a deal, I would spend a little more and get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236174 That is what I think I will be ordering soon, but I am no monitor expert. I just look at reviews and opinions.
It's a 60hz TN panel so fine for people on a budget, but an IPS panel would offer better quality and a 120hz TN would be better for competitive gaming.
