Please don't buy Dell, they'll rip you off and you won't be able to upgrade.

If you don't want the headaches of building it yourself, then get one from AvaDirect.com, they're much more affordable and won't ripyou off.

Build your own PC. I'm not saying Dell is bad, but price:performance ratio is way off. You can build yourself a PC that can kick Crysis in the face for around $1000 (if you overlock), which I know you probably will. Also, it's not difficult to build your own PC. It's actually quite fun and you get to customize your PC to your liking.

XP 32-bit won't. If they use 64-bit it will. Same with Vista 32-bit/64-bit.(actually it will use3.5 Gigs b/c the video card is 512mb VRAM and 32-bit only recognizes up to 4).

edit: or your in a different country, or you got 2 monitors or something...?

Wow. You know that you could have built a computer with the same specs, widescreen LCD monitor, etc. for under $1500, possibly even $1250, by going to newegg.com.

I sure hope thats some currency im not familiar with because if that $2,335 is euros, pounds ,US dollars, canadian dollars...ect then you got screwed over big time because the tower alone isn't worth more than probaly $750USD......

Wow, $2335 ??? Dell rip-off comfirmed!!

For cheaper, I built you a monster PC, Antec Twelve Hundred Black ATX Full Tower , ASUS P5Q LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard , SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 4870 512MB , Thermaltake W0106RU 700W , Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9650 Yorkfield 3.0GHz , OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) , Western Digital Raptor X WD1500AHFD 150GB 10000 RPM . For just over 2000 dollars. You would have enough money spare for some computer accesories, maybe a monitor or a new keyboard/mouse!

Build it yourself its not hard. For the price your spending on that rig you can get a GTX260/HD4870 instead of that 88GT. 88GT will not cut it for crysis.

I agree with most...Build it yourself with the specs you want or have a local PC maker build it for you.

I have had my last 2 built for me and each one I saved about 2K, if I would have had Dell or Alien. A PC builder will come closer to the prices of Cyber Power Computers

Spec wise it's fine. Price wise, from what little we've heard of the hardware, it seems like you're spending $1000 more than you should be.

Even with the printer and extra crap its not worth it. The tower with a 22" monitor (which you may or may not of gotten in your bundle) and the printer is still only worth about $1300-$1400 and if the extra stuff is crap then thats bad. Your paying extra for stuff you might not want or need.

Well now we cancelled the order from dell and best buy has an HP computer at like 1540$ with 6GB of RAM, the nVidia Geforce 9500, and the 2 hardrives formed into 1 750GB.

That is a terribly unbalanced computer. You won't need 6gigs of RAM, ever. If you do in the future, the RAM you bought now will be slow and feeble. Go to a smaller company like IBuyPower or go to a local tech shop and find someone who will build the computer for you for ~$200 cash if you order the parts off Newegg. You can probably get them to help you pick the computer out, and if you set the price beforehand they'll only be inclined to help you get the best computer possible.

IbuyPower? Ick. And paying someone to assemble your parts thus negating any savings? Ick.

Basically if one is dead set against self assembly, and they better have a better reason than "I don't know how" or "Too much work", one goes AVADirect.

But the assembly part is easy, and parts picking and critiquing until you have all the right stuff from newegg.com is free here on this forum.

That tower is worse than the one you listed before buy quite a bit. Im not trying to sound mean but do you really have any clue what your doing ?? A build with a nice case/case,4gigs of ram, 8800GT which is much better than the 8800GT, nice dual core thats clocked high,500GB harddrive and everything else included runs about $690 which is less than half of what you paid.

A good start is to ditch bestbuy and order online. Bestbuy is a scam and they overprice alot of there computers.

That first computer is way overpriced. I got mine for a 1000 dollars at Dell and mine had a Q6600, 4 GB Ram (only sees 3.3 GB because of 32 bit Vista, and 8600GT. Your only difference was the graphics card and you said you got a printer. Also, it's a good computer, but just overpriced.

As for the one you said you just bought, I'm not too sure about that card, but the 8800GT is better than that. I know that for sure. Personally, I wouldn't buy it from there.

No the 88800GT is alot better thats why you got ripped off on both computers. You overpaid both computers buy at least $500 and don't take advice from bestbuy because all they care about is money. The will give you crap and raise to prices because you don't know alot about computers.

Fine Build, If you add another 8800GT and put them in SLI mode, then you can play Crysis very well.

Choose the following:

Case is personal preference.

PSU: Corsair 750

Motherboard: Gigabyte P45-DS3R

CPU: E8500

Cooler: Freezer 7 Pro

Memory: G.Skill 4gb DDR2 800

Video Card: Choose TWO Visiontek HD 4850

HDD: As much space as you need.

LCD Monitor: 22" Samsung 2253BW

Keyboard: Saitek Eclipse

Mouse: Logitech MX-318

OS: Vista Home Premium 64bit

Price: $1822.08

That computer will be way more powerful than either of the two you posted.

Yeah that is a good comp, you will be able to play Crysis definitely but not very well on the highest settings. I also highly suggest you build your comp, saves you money, you get better parts and you learn a lot.

Yea i just got Crysis today and it can run fine on medium but when i scan my computer for what setting it auto puts it to High and it runs really slow so i dont know if its my computer or My Graphics card cuz im thinking of just switch this 9500GS to the 8800GT
