I am about to buy this router for my family computer, and the reciever for my gaming computer. I see that the router has gotten 3 awards, so I'm asuming its good. Does anyone have any expirience with it? Does anyone have this reciever? I am trying to keep it around $100, so if you have any suggestions, keep that in mind.

Also, my internet is only 256 kb/s so I don't need wireless-N or enhanced or whatever. I am going to be about 25-30 feet from the router.

The router ain't bad and the card is ok. If your're gaming online stick to a wired connection if possible.

I would, but my mom would hate a blue ethernet cable going through the house. I perfer singleplayer for the most part, so the internet would be mostly from browsing the web and chatting.

It's a good router.

Linksys Wireless-G routers are the most popular routers out right now and they work great.

The ONLY issue I had with mine was that some VPN connections are not possible unless you do some port forwarding and a couple other tweaks.

But if you are not planning on operating another computer through your own computer, then it's nothing to concern yourself with. It's excellent for gaming and everyday wireless connections like a Sony PSP or any gaming device.
