I'm not a PC builder but I used IBuyPower's Intel PC Core 2 Duo configurator to make this

it's not too bad, but it's not that great. the 8800gt is pretty decent, but it's quickly being phased out. don't use some builder/configurator, do the researching yourself and put the $846 towards something better. you can get something better building it yourself.

if your not gonna build your own use ava direct i have not heard a single bad thing about them and they are normally priced very well

It is a nice mid ranged system that will play games very well for the time being, but in the next year I am sure it will run into a game or two that will test it, ala crysis.

It's certainly good for people who aren't enthusiasts. People saying it's just ok is because they want to be as high as they can be for the price.
