Im wondering if I should get Crysis for christmas. Should I get it or is Crysis 2 coming up soon? Please I really need help on this.Paper-Mario
Well if you got a rig to run it on full then get it, if not then its not the time yet.... get a rig to run it full, but remember that withou an amazing rig you probably wont be able to run crysis 2... if its not the same engine that is.. but again no updates on crysis 2 yet!

Crysis 2 is coming up soon - in fact the concept art has been released for it. Ask me about it. Might as well give the first two games a try though if you are curious. You only live once!!

yeah, everyone says that Crysis 2 is coming soon but can we expect it in '09 or 2010?

What are you talking about?? Crysis 2 is going to be Q4 of '09 at the earliest... Don't mess up the purchasing decision with your guesses. OP - As others mentioned, if you have the specs to run it, its Always a good time to get Crysis
Crysis might be compelling a purchase this holdiay season .. might be found at a reasonable price .. but you might want to look into Crysis:Warhead .. solid offshoot story to the main one in the original Crysis and probably could be had for around 20 dollars and offer you 6-12 hrs of play plus any replayability you find in new strategies and multiplayer.
its always a good time to get crysis the single player is fun and will provide a decent amount of entiartianment and will look rly good if u can run it at high settings and above.
There's a 90% chance you won't regret buying Crysis if you have the right rig. BTW, is Crysis 2 gonna feature more aliens? If so, then it's automatically 1.5 stars less from me. I really hate the alien missions in 1 and Warhead, espicially the "boss" fights.....those scenes felt like some crappy childish console game. I rated the game high mainly because i loved terrorizing the Korean Army. :D
Those specs are fine for Crysis, i have have almost the same setup (just a twice the ram and a slightly faster CPU) and i can play it smoothly with everyting on high (gamer on warhead) @ 1440x900 under DX9, so it is indeed a good day for you to buy Crysis :D .
