Is this a good trade? Laptop for Desktop

I'm trading my Dell Studio 1537 for a desktop and this guy offered me an Alienware Aurora 7500

My laptop is only a few years old and the 7500 came out in 2005 i think.

His specs are something like, 4GB ram, 225GB HDD, and has yet to tell me what GPU.

My laptop is pretty much the same memory and storagewise, but has an integrated GPU.

Would this be a good trade if i was interested in doing a few upgrades or should i look for something a little newer?

the cpu is lost but you can still game on it for 2008 max and some memory upgrade and good to go, its not all that bad
