Ok well basically I customized it from some online site that builds computers. I also added Windows vista home ED 64 bit, and 600 Watts of power. I dont know alot about computes almost nothing so is this Rig really really good in performance? Basically can it play Crysis on Ultra High? I tried the most economic and cheap way possible do build it. I'm not buying it, but maybe in the future because im focusing on a Mac. What do you guys think?

You would get ultra high at 1280x resolution, then start toning down settings a bit here and there for higher resolution..

Overpirced? really? and I thought it was a bargain since people complain about running a $2, 3, $4000 Rig to play one game which is completely ridiculous. Sadly =[ I dont even know how to build a PC.

You won't play Crysis on Very High with a 600$ PC. You can run it on High as Crytek "proved" with their pre-built computer. You can get that one for its price and run Crysis on High at 1280x1024. Or, you can build your own computer and try to go for VH. You will spend much less that computer with either choice.

Really? thank you. I saw it as a bargain and if not. Ill just buy the same pieces and build it like I showed everyone. I think $1100 is a good price to play Crysis on Ultra high including Vista 64 bit. Most people go over the boundary with $3000 Rigs but I just dont want to spend that much money on a machine

$826

You would run at ultra high at certain resolutions with this,

Get a cheapo case, modern components don't need as much cooling now, as long as has a couple of case fans, ok

After looking at that price again, it's a very good deal, you will always pay a bit less building your own PC but then compaines have to make some profit and you have the hassle of putting ti together and if you damage any parts.. Looks good to me...

Laugh at me, I dont know what that isKamekazi_69

Resolution is the number of pixels your monitor is able to display. Well sort of. It's usually represented by the ammount of pixels on a horizontal line x ammount of pixels in a vertical line. So for example, my dad's laptop (the one I'm typing on right now) has a resolution of 1280x1024. One horizontal line of pixels holds 1280 of them, and one vertical line has 1024. If you multiply this number you get the total of pixels your monitor has.

With this mildy well explained, the bigger the resolution you're playing on, the MORE pixels need to be rendered, therefore the graphic card needs to work more in order to get a frame to display on your monitor. So, if you're playing a game at full settings and at 60 frames per second at 1024x768, and then decide to change it to 1280x1024, it's possible your card can't keep up. If you lower your resolution, then your card will be able to pull off bigger frames per second. The bigger the resolution you're playing on, the more the frames will lower.

I hope I've been clear, check this link and this one for more info. How do you see at what resolution your monitor currently is? Well, right-click on your desktop then select properties and select the tab Settings.

PS: Looks like this laptop is running at 1400x1050. Now that's a weird one ._.

Edit: Got the url tag wrong.

9800GX2 is trash. And they even sli'ed it. Haha. I stepped up to a GTX 260 and got away from that stuttering SOB! 60 FPS feels like 30 FPS in Crysis with low resolution during that time. $1400 = Quadcore, GTX 280, High end air coolers, and a quality motherboard, not some weak 5 series board from NVIDIA.

Translation: $3000 prebuilt = $1500 worth of hardwares at best.

One last note. Depending on your resolution we can look out for a suitable pre-built or custom built PC that doesn't cost as much as the ones you posted but that will be able to play the game on VH settings.

For example, if you're playing at, let's say, 1024x768 then we can find a cheaper card (or a cheaper PC with that card) that will get VH settings than the one you'd need for gaming at say, 1680x1050, and therefore you could save some money.

Are you serious? the 9800 GX2 was nominated as one of the vest cards out there. $3000? for a PC? I'm running 3 fans, might consider liquid coolers and the motherboard designed by Nvidia is perfect for a Nvidia card
