Is this computer any good??

I would never recommend buying a computer straight from the store, but this one looks pretty decent:

not for $900. even if you didnt want to assemble it all yourself you can get a decent machine from tiger direct and swap two parts for less and curb stomp that thing.

you can just buy a better pc with this budget

Yeah, nah. Listen to MonsieurX. Best Buy put inferior parts in a slick-looking case and called it a gamer PC, but it is only like an upper-mid-level gaming rig. M. X's rig is like lower-top-level, which is what you get for that money. Blistrax

if you had a choice of one of these computers for a 10 year old which one would you choose; ibuypower intelcore i5-3570 3.4 ghz 16 GB of memory 2.0 tb harddrive or ibuypower amd fx-8150 3.6 ghz bluray 16 gb memory 2.0 tb harddrive? IT'S FOR HIS 11th BIRTHDAY.. THANK YOUscotyrock67
