Well speaking of Craiglist my friend on here RedXSniper is trying to sell his Gaming Rig. You can find the specs in his Sig and he recently started a thread on here called it's been a week....Please help my friend out cause he desperatly wants to sell his rig. Also you can find him on my friends list and send him a PM if you like. His Rig also has much much better specs than the one you mentioned. It has a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 2.66 GHz, Gigabyte P45 motherboard, a 320GB SATA 2 Hard Drive, 4GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2 800 RAM, a Corsair TX750 power supply, a Cooler Master CM690 Case, and an XFX 4890 1GB video card. He has the Windows 7 RC installed on it as well. So please at least talk to him about it cause he was selling it for around the same price. (Assuming you're in the US)

Hey. Yeah i'm trying to sell the computer in my signature. Mine is also on craiglist, here's the link: http://toledo.craigslist.org/sys/1353749879.html This computer can run games on max, even crysis. But on crysis, when i play it, i max everything except AA and AF. If your interested pm me, and if you don't live in my area we could work something out like a paypal or something. And i'm not saying this just so you can buy this computer, but my computer completely trashes the one you mentioned.

Alienware might be too expensive for his budget though. But I know what you're saying.

wow thats horrible buy for 800$ getting ripped off tremendously 400$ custom built will perform better then that pc let alone a 800$ custom build it would DESTROY that pc. sli 7900gtx that's so last gen a single 4850 will be way better and a slow dual core and only 2G or ram the only good thing about it is the case defintly not worth 800$.

i would reccomend you buy this pc http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/Configurators.aspx?mid=72

you can customise it to how you want but i reccomend changing the graphics card to a gts 250 1G instead of a 9800gt 1G it doesn't change thep rice at all and the gts250 is faster and getting a E8400 instead of a E8500 you will save money and barely notice the speed diffrence you can just overclock it anyways for free. use the money you saved add better cooling to the pc.

This is NOT a good deal at all. I would highly recommend trying to build it yourself. It will require some work but you will learn a whole lot and have a lot of fun researching and putting it together. Not to mention it often times comes out cheaper.

You should build one yourself and get a 4890 vapor-x 2gb editioni would think u couldafford that on an $800 build however im from england and im not sure what the £ to $ exchange is at the moment but u should defintly go for an ati card best performancefor theprice.

u can get a 4890 vapor-x oc'ed to 1000/1100 i think.

maybe a Q6600 Quad Core for around $100

I'd recommend kingston ddr2 1066 mhz get atleast 4gb unless u have vista 32 bit then get3gb

asus p5q pro motherboard for around $100

You can definetly get a better PC than the one u suggested.

Um just build it from Newegg. If you choose the parts there you might get a better price but upgrade the video cards everything else is fine.

That's a great pc for 2006... LOL.

I had something similar to that. The CPU was dam expensive back when it first came out. It's practically worthless now.

if he want a good that play 1680x1050 / 1920x1200 for 800-1000$ il Look foward build that on newegg.com / microcenter if he live in a city that as one of there store for 800$ i think could get someting or is near to have someting as build below

Phenom II X4 955
790FX motherboard
2x2gB DDR3
HD5870 at Release
650-750W PSU
HDD of 500-640-1TB 7200:12 Seagate or WD black Caviar 500-1TB
CM 690(case)

if he overclock you add a cpu cooler you get a CPU at 3.8Ghz around and it will do about same performance as Core i7 920 : while core i7 920 cost more then Phenom II X4 Build by a small % but for 800$ he could get nearly someting as i said here
