A "Ramdac" is only one part of a Graphics Processor Unit. The card you have is a discrete device, in the sense that it was separately assembled as a circuit board, with its onboard VRAM (and Ramdac), before the laptop itself was assembled, at which time the graphics card probably has been so thoroughly attached, that it is "part" of the system and is basically not truly removeable, but that doesn't turn it into an IGP .. far from it. Kiwi_1Heh, I didn't want go into that far. I'm sure it's an MXM card, which means he could replace it if he wanted to tear his laptop apart and possibly never get it back together again . . . but I don't think he'd want to go and replace his video card like a Mac user.
how is the Ati Radeon X1600 pro AGP 8x ?

It's not very good by current standards, although it does handle shader-heavy chores far better than its raw specifications would seem to indicate (it was better for NWN2 and Oblivion than a 6600 GT, but the 6600 GT outperformed it in turn on everything else). The X1650 Pro is a greatly superior card for the same basic price, and the 7600 GT is far superior to it for only a small added cost. (It should be noted that the 8600 GT is frequently available at essentially the same $115 +/- cost as the average 7600 GT, and it handles shaders half again better than the 7600 GT does).
Here's an eVGA 8600 GT for $100, after the MIR:
