Has great reviews. Sounds good to me but I haven't shopped for monitors in years. Thanks.

I've had 2 LG's in my life. First one had a high pitch noise which I replaced with a second one which died a month later. It's safe to say I'll never touch that garbage ever again. They could have improved their stuff since then but I doubt it.

If your graphics cards can handle 1080p then yes. I also happen to agree with the person above, something from asus or dell would be a safer bet. Hannsg die within a year normally so dont get one of those

Don't bother to buy that LG it's overpriced. That glossy thing it has, doesn't it gloss the same way that most of the notepad screens?

I won't be shopping for any future monitors besides LG. IMO, they have the best picture quality, even over Samsung and Dell (I don't like the colors on Dell monitors.) Haven't had an ASUS monitor or ever seen one in person, only heard good comments.

Asus all the way. I would never go back to any other brand, especially not Samsung. If you're serious about gaming, purchase a monitor that is 1920x1200 16:10 aspect ratio. In this day and age, there are so many 1080p 16:9 ratio and I never find those to look great for gaming. Now, if you're running much lower resolutions then go for it. I like gaming at 1920x1200.

BenQ's are nice too but they can be a bit expensive.
