In most cases yes it will, but the i7 2700k and 16gb of memory is a waste, if you can change to an i5 2500 it would be more cost effective without losing performance also 4gb is good , 8gb is more then enough and 16gb is almost a waste.

No, not at all. You're spending 500 on the CPU and RAM alone, and you're getting a garbage mobo that won't let you OC the CPU or use 4 RAM sticks. Forget the 2700k. Get a 2500k, and use the money saved on a better GPU, Mobo, and PSU.

You need to get your priorities right. Remember that the video card is the most important thing in a gaming PC and spending too much on any other part quickly leads to huge diminishing returns.

- The 2700k is useless get a 2500k. The only difference between the 2500k and the 2600k is hyperthreading and that isn't used by games. The only difference between the 2600k and 2700k is basically just a cherry picked 0.1ghz overclock.

- 16GB of RAM is useless get 4/8GB. Games don't ever use more than 4GB. The only reason people consider 8GB is if they like having lots of programs open whilst they play games (or 10 tabs of their internet browser). You'll never use more than 8GB unless your doing something very specific with it like super high resolution photo editing.

- You need a better branded power supply. Corsair TX 650 or XFX 650W Core or Seasonic S12II 620, for example.

- Get a P67 or Z68 motherboard not H61. The H61 doesn't allow overclocking and is very basic.

- I'd suggest only getting a 1TB HDD and just buying another 1TB if you somehow manage to fill it up. Make sure it's 7200 RPM.

- Get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO instead of your current CPU Cooler. It's basically the uncontested king of budget coolers.

Also, although case choice is more of a personal opinion: I'd definately take a look at the NZXT Source 210. It's a really nice budget case that comes in at around the same price as the one you picked out.

As the others here have said, the 2700k is not worth it over the 2500k for games. You won't notice the additinoal .2 GHz or the additional 2 MB L3 cache in gaming with the 2700k. With the money you save by going for the 2500k, you can get a much better video card such as a Radeon 2GB 6970 or a 1.25GB GTX 570. 8 GB RAM is more than enough for gaming as others have said here. You don't need DDR3 1600 memory with Sandy Bridge CPU as Sandy Bridge officially supports up to DDR3 1333 and you are running the memory controller on the Sandy Bridge CPU out of spec if you run memory faster than 1333, but you can run the 1600 at 1333 and the motherboards should default it to 1333 anyways. You are fine with that motherboard if you don't overclock. If you are not going to overclock, you might as will save a few more bucks and go for the i5 2500 non-k version.

Cut on the Ram, buy 8GB 1333MHz, since SB can only procces it on 1333. Buy SSD for the OS, and youll be able to run every game on ultra settings. And if posible buy 7950 or the lower versions.

Waiiit. Make sure the 2500 is the K version. That will allow for overclocking making your build far more futureproof.

It all depends also if the TC feels comfortable in overclocking and if not, getting the K would be a pointless
