Since i am not sure entirely how gfx cards r rated i usualyl check this website to see if it thinks my pc can run games

http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srl

many games like cod4, gow and others it says i meet and surpass the recommended requirements for the games, so is this completely accurate or is it likely to give me false answers at all?

um yes and no

it only goes by the rec and min specs for a game, it doesnt really know how fast your system actually is so it wont give a great indication of how a game will run, and for the people that are totally clueless it can be a problem because for example it said i didnt meet the rec specs for crysis because of my 8800gt, because the card wasnt in their database even though we all know the 8800gt and crysis are lovers

so it can be accurate, but it can be stupid, basically if you are smart enough to point out the errors it makes, you dont need it to begin with

ok cheers, my pc blitzes everything except gfx card where it scrapes through so i'll have a look at how the games play when they arrive, could be interesting figuring out which settings will give me best performance without frying anything
