Apprently not. Peep was telling me to switch to vista instead of xp a while ago. Intresting tip, though would have been nice if he gave me m/b suggestions too......*mutters*
Anyway, it's supposed to be stable now ain't it? + it's got dx10 and 64 allows for 8GB max.
I have been using Vista Premium 64 for about a year now, and I have actually had more problems with my XP machine.
Vista is a very good OS. Most of the people who complain about Vista have never used it, and just want to sound smart or have a PC without the muscle to run Vista and blame Vista instead of their PC.
Vista is not worth upgrading to if you already have XP. But if you are buying a new PC and need a OS, there is no reason not to go with Vista.
Hmm, might have to give it a go. xp memory limit is annoying =/D_Knight_Nik
You mean 32-bit xp/vista limit is annoying? The 64-bit versions of both OS's can actually handle 4 gigs
