I might get into the game, but i really dont feel like paying 15 bucks a month when i could use it on something way better. People are talking about WoW but i dont know if theres a point of playing if i have to pay. Im not trying to be cheap or anything, i heard its a really good game, im just asking if its worth getting.

Just buy the game, you get 30 days free. If you don't like it, then don't continue playing.

To me, no its not.

But id rather play GW (the game which is a little kid trying to sit at the big kids table, acording to another gamespot poster).

To each his own.

Heck I'd rather play Witcher instead of WoW. ;)

No offense to you GPAddict, but don't listen to this it might be a biased opinion.

I played the game at my friends house, and I'm not a big MMO fan. It was fun, but not worth the monthly.

I suggest you just pick up the 30 day trial though and see how you like it.

was worth it but not anymore especially if your new the learning curve is too high now considering all the things you have to learn and the progress you have to make. Wait for warhammer online or age of conan.

Avoid WoW, it stinks... there are plenty of other options such as EVE (which you can pay for gametime via ingame cash after a few months), as mentioned before Guild Wars.

I think WoW is an awsome game, though I don't think it's worth the monthly fee. So I just play Guild War, which is great in its own right.

if you aren't sure about having the time and the money to get into an mmo, so just DON'T !!

but if you definitly look forward to a game that will make you want more and make you want to accomplish stuff, go for wow
(but ... personnaly, i find that leveling up is really boring, long and hard ... but fun starts at max lvl)

Try out the 14 day trial before buying the game. See how you like it. I found WoW a load of fun, but sometimes it was considerably boring and i found myself on the game not really knowing why as id just wander around. Its deffinatley a more enjoyable experience when your playing with some of your friends, or when you have made in game friends.
