In all the years of gaming I have under my belt, that game (for god only knows what reason) really and truly was. Something about the short reward system just keeps you coming back for more. Even with all it's other flaws, I just kept going for a good amount of time due to the constant stream of different rewards (armor, weapons, levels, etc.) the game kept tossing my way.

And seriously people, we all know what they meant, just cut out the silly remarks regarding the title. It's been played out, and makes you look a little....slow, for not being able to figure it out. (it had to be said)

I like to hope that people know what they meant, but it truly seems like a waste of time and thread space to post nothing else than mockery at the topic. I'd let it go, but I'll be darned if someone (or two, or three, etc) doesn't feel some compulsion to post nothing but an insult for little more than a backhanded comment at one little mis-spelled word every darn time it happens. The first time I let it go. Even the second, third, and on and on, but this is just growing old.

Ok, that part I'll give ya, but still, I think this one was close enough. That's all I'm saying.

Also, thanks for not pointing out what I just now noticed was a horrid flaw in my spelling (the irony is really killing me as we speak, for what it's worth :cry: )

The first Evercrack by far. I wasted 2 to 3 years of my life on that game and gained nothing.Lakin0817

Same here. The original Everquest for me was way more addicting. WoW's addiction stopped at level 20 when I realized how lame the game was.

Yeah, that game was addicting... until it became boring as hell...

Time spent playing World of WarCraft: 4.5 hours open beta.

Time spent playing EverQuest: 6,000 hours.

This game pisses me off because I haven't played it in months but now I'm getting that urge to play it again. It happens a few times a year and it's hard to resist but I manage.stephant_6

Heh, it was for me until I got WoW.

I did enjoy WoW for a while, its a great premise but its so redundant that I stopped playing. Everything was a fed ex quest or kill so many of these, or those. I got a few characters up to 70 and just was bored (although the expansion was fascinating for a short time more). I think every gamer would like a season of wow but after it wears off you are either a long term wow player or not. I'm not.
