i've played wow and the burning crusade. is it worth it to buy all the incarnations of WoW to get wrath of the lich king. at the end of burning crusade it all just seemed redundant for me because of all the old creatures with the same skins. just wanted to know how much different wrath was.

Yes it is...if u like WoW. Wrath brings some nice new gameplay mechanics. Of course sooner or later Wrath too will become boring or redundant...but Northrend is a nice looking place....and its great if you get to meet Arthas...

Yeah, it's pretty good, though I'm getting tired of leveling my main characters. The new quests they've added have new and interesting things about them. For instance jumping on the back of a dragon and shooting fireballs at undead, or on the back of a ice giant and running around beating stuff to death, (mostly undead.) They've added a whole mess of new skins, but of course they've reused old models for items/monsters, it's just Blizzard's way of things.

It's a small step from being the same old stuff, and it does get repetitive. But otherwise, it's good.

Wrath is much better than BC. BC kind of seemed forced to me and there was a lot of stuff in it that I didnt care for. But wrath in terms of gameplay its the same thing but the zones and quests are much better especially if you into the lore of Warcraft.

Hey....even normal mode of Ulduar is sometimes complicated....lol Anyway....Lich King is better than BC, but I think BC was still good. Shame I don't have so much time these days for WoW, I really want to meet Arthas

Wrath is definitely a better xpack than BC. Questing is much, much more interesting in Wrath, with the new vehicle mechanics and phasing. Actually seeing the environments change from your quest progress is great (I've done the death knight starting zone 4 times now, just because it's that well done). Of course once you hit level cap, it goes back to the same thing of daily quests, running instances, and/or PvPing until the next xpack comes along. But the trek to 80 is great.

Wrath is easily one of my favorite expansion packs ever. It adds a ton of cool new dungeons, a new continent to explore and fight in, and everything is immediately and high rewarding. Its also fairly easy to get from 70-80, so if you have a real life its good because you can get your one or two hours per day in and make real progress (though this seems to alienate the diehard MMO fans)

Also, the Death Knight class is just simply awesome to play. They do great damage and can also be great tanks. I play a priest (healer) and I love DK tanks...so good at keeping my ass alive lol.

Honestly to me WoW is all about endgame, so people who come and say 'I hate wow, its to much grinding and questing' have never really played the game imo. I think it is definitly worth it. Naxx was boring, but with Ulduar out now the game is really fun. They have hard modes that are actually pretty challenging.

So one thing in the whole game you like is one instance ? Doesn`t seem worth it to me.
