Hey guys while playing games like crysis and battlefield bad company 2 i have noticed things that are about 100 yards away look like crap! and im not joking no aa or anything im not normally sensitive to bad graphics but it is just awfull. The fine details dont appear and on most games it completely ruins the immersion. For example on crysis from far away the trees look fake and jagged and the trees on the mountains stumps dont even go into the ground. And on battlefield bad company 2 from far away the fences dont appear and same with houses and walls and it looks pretty bad. So if anyone could please help me im desperate tyvm.

My specs are

Intel Core I5@ 2.6ghz

Ati radeon 5770

1tb hd

1680x1050

Windows 7 home premium

8gb ram

I have also tried all aa and af and highest settings in games and it still hasnt gone away. Im playing DX 11 btw and im wondeirng if its a common driver issues cause i have a lot of other less anoying issuess or its something else messed up. So tyvm for all replies ty.

I recommend going into the ATI Catalyst Control Center and messing with your 3d settings. I would leave the AA/AF settings on "application-controlled," but turn everything else up to the highest-quality option. See if that helps.

Actually, on the contrary; I recommend keeping x16 AF forced in the control panel as it has almost no bearing on performance but increases graphical fidelity noticeably.

Whether or not it has an impact on your performance depends on the GPU. It has a large impact in some apps with hardware that isn't top-notch.

A 5770 is not going to have a large impact in any game, I dont even consider AF to be an option to tinker anymore, it is going to 16xAF by default and if a game doesnt support than I'll do it in the game profile.

To the TC, well there are 2 main reasons why things in the distance can look bad. A very low resolution or no AF but as we can see you arent running a low resolution. Now crysis has no built-in AF and you should enable it in the drivers, it made a difference to me.

Cant really say what's wrong with BC2 though...
