When I start my Rainbow Six all I see is a black screen. I can see some sort of a visor, and hear the sounds. But no visuals. What could the problem be?

Specs:

Intel Core 2 - 1.83 ghz

NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 - 512 mb

DDR 2 RAM - 2 gb

PS. Didn't know where to put this topic, but please inform me if it was wrong :)

Hmm that's money out of the window if that's true :(

I'm gonna try uninstall it, then update everything possible on my laptop.

Works fine on my HP dv9035nr laptop with lower specs.
T5500 core 2 duo 1.66ghz
GO7600 (86.02driver) 256 mb
2gb Ram

Are you running Vista? Those 100.xx series Forceware drivers are garbage last I checked.
That may be the difference, I'm on XP

Try patching it.
I patched before I ever ran it so I don't know if a problem may have existed before that.

It's a good game, and in many ways an improvement over the last few but it lost a lot of the tactical feel and is more arcade like now. Still a great game if you just don't compare it to the rest of the series

Well the coop part of the game is still awesome, in my opinion. And not many games have this feature. But well, if we feel that flavour of Arcade is because it was main focused for the Xbox 360.

Hi all,

I have a couple of weeks a problem in game with a pop up screen with the message: general protection fault and some times when i want to set up a server in vegas2 the game shuts down after a few rounds and i get a bleu screen and my pc restarts!.

Did not have this problem before even when i bought the game at the beginning ,it shows now more and more often the problem.

Normal are all my drivers up to date i thought my ATI driver wos out of date but thats not the problem i saw.

Somebody have a solution for this?
