I have observed something you guys are not really giving a sh*t about it. It is the 3D gaming time and nobody is playing his/her games using the new 3D technology that is much more better than the old ones you saw before. Nvidia are promising that you will get the same as IMAX result for gaming and watching movies or pictures. It is (Geforce 3D Vision Glasses) which requires a 120hz Monitors or HDTVs. I thought people are going to jump for this since I see the 3D gaming way is much better/funnier way to play the modern games than the old 2D Flat screens. But I didn't expect people are just ignoring it.
The SONY Playstation 3 company developers are trying their best to develop a way to turn the PS3 to a smart 3D gaming machine nearly in 2009!
So the question is "What do you say about 3D gaming and talk about your preferments of the way you play" and "Is 3D gaming is a thing you aren't really interested in?"

In times like these, I doubt a pair of "3D glasses" selling for $200 is going to appeal to anybody.

Technically you see the 3D world in 2D. Try sitting absolutely still and stare at one object. That object would appear 2D to you unless you moved the slightest bit. The same goes for 3D games.

PS3 Gimmick, so far they only have videos of Gran Turismo in 3D... So they don't even have anything playable.

Errm Nvidia just came out with their monitor/glasses combo, which works on over 350 games to date... and apparently is quite impressive

I am NOT getting a 120hz monitor, that's like paying for a monitor made of gold the display still looks the same. If they can fix that issue I might give it a shot.

The problem isn't that I'm not interested.. because I am. But I'm more interested in paying my bills, fixing my car, and eating. The amount of money it costs to get the needed equipment is the problem. Give it time... it will catch on once the prices go down and/or we get out of this recession.

First off, Im more intresting to get things to look more realistic, why does games render just like they've been done in 20years or so?

Raytracing witch can look photorealistic should be done by now,why does we not see products out yet, because raytracing hardware isn't that complicated.

Would you still want your ûber expencive 3D monitor still wieweing the same old stuff so it still looks just "half" real?

I am not sure that the 3D monitors will give many people better and more photo realistic gaming.

The market of 3Dmonitors will not be a great hit because...

(1) You will have to sit rigth in front of it.

(2) Only one people can see the things on the screen. (As in nr:1)

(3) If you stretch to get your Jolt cola on your desk your screen will get blurry. (still as in nr:1)

(4) They are expencive.

(5) Picture quality isn't very good.

(6) They are mostly for gaming. (as in nr:5)

But... The idea isn't that bad, but they arent wery usable for many things, and the bad prize don't make it better.
