Hey guys, i was planning to build my own rig very soon but i saw this computer on Costco for $649.99 with shipping.

I am not sure about the motherboards, but the graphics cards in both are pretty terrible, if you plan on just surfing the web and multimedia it will be fine. The CPUs on both are great. If you plan on gaming you may need to upgrade the power supply. EDIT: Also, make sure you have a 64bit operatin system installed if you want your computer to use that last 500mb or RAM (32bit only supports 3.5gigs)

Question about the Cpu, which would be better for gaming, Q6600 or E8400?

For gaming the E8400 Dual core processor would be best because 99% of the games out right now only use two cores.

And just to give you a heads up, you cant go sli with that mobo unless you replace it because theres only 1 pcie x16 slot on those ones.
