I dont think there was a single case where a game that comes out on January wins the GOTY.

usually the GOTY goes to the game that comes out September - November.

Starcraft 2 definitely gonna be goty for me at least. Hopefully they release it earlier than the end of the year but who knows with blizz =/.

Just because they're FINALLY releasing StarCraft 2 doesn't mean it's going to get GOTY.

They've taken way too long with it and giving us pitiful amounts of content. The review better reflect that.

Mass Effect 2 on the other hand...has taken less time to develop than StarCraft 2, and has MUCH more content.

Easy decision in my book.

Yeah and how in the hell do you measure the amount of content in an Action RPG vs a strategy game? If by content you mean length/replay value than Starcraft 2 pulverizes ME2.
