It's been a week...

Hello again. About a week ago i put the computer in my signature on sale at craiglist for 1000$ with a free HAWX game. About a couple days later i was advised to put it down to 900$. So i did and now it's been atleast 5 days. Noone has called,texted, nor left an email. Does it look like it's not going to sell, or is it just me that has no patience? Probably misleading advertizing: If it is Windows 7 RC you are "selling" you are misleading.

2. Also Tell them it's running on the Windows 7 RC

3. You definitely need to lower it to $900, you also may likely have to drop it lower than that.

4. Also see if there's anyone at your school that's interested.

5. Also download the Crysis demo and take a pic of the computer running Crysis on very high (Do not use fraps, instead take a pic with your digital camera).

the only i think i can see is that ur limiting the ppl ur selling it too. i mean person to person. i would rather buy the pieces and build it my selfs instead of waste ALL the gas to get to ohio to purchase a 900$ computer. u should offer pay pal tranfers and ship it, u may get more bites Wildedge93

Oh and also when you take the pics don't take them so dark. Shine a light on the area you are trying to photograph.

Add pictures(with digital camera) of CPU-Z running showing all tabs, run multiple instances if you think that would work better. Run a GPU-Z as well for the video card. This will help confirm the components.

That computer may be able to play Crysis at Maximum settings, doesn't mean it's PLAYABLE at maximum settings.

Run some benchmarks on it and then put links to comparable benchmarks on the page.

If it doesn't sell in about 3 or 4 weeks, break the PC up and sell it piece by piece.

When I hear or see maximum I think in my mind DX10 with everything max. Because that is what maximum settings mean. EVERYTHING is at max, not just selective stuff.

You need to put that information in then. Since you kind of are false advertising and even if you aren't a major company some could sue you if they actually believed they could play they at max setting.

That computer is no where near 900 dollars. It's used and the parts are not up to date except the HD4890 but still it's not a top of the line card. Hell windows 7 is free, GPU is used and as I said not top of the line. Your CPU isn't a Q9550 plus it isn't OC'd. I don't see an aftermarket cooler plus the HDD is pretty small for 7200rpm.

It's a used computer which most people (that play games) temd to avoid. Try lowering the price tag a little. $800

Also, Computers aren't in high demand. Especially, powerful ones. If I did need a computer now, I would buy it for 850. It similar to mine and it's cheaper.

Sell the parts seperate took 4 months to sell a full system, parts took a week. You'll get more lowballs on full system.

Seeing as how this isn't a fanboy forum i have to mention the power consumption and Overclocking :roll: Even if it was slightly better it doesn't make sense to go through the hassle of switching over. X360PS3AMD05

First off, i wouldn't consider this system "high-end", nor can it max crysis with playable framerates. PC gamers are more intelligent and know more about hardware today then they used too, and your an unknown name trying to sell a used computer. Plus, that's most likely the RC of windows 7 (unless you already pre-order it) which in either case you should specify if it is RC or a pre-order (or combination). I'd suggest lowering the price to almost near what u truely paid for it in order to gain credibility, and also keep your claims honest, don't tell others they can max crysis out because they will obviously be unable to (at very high) and then never recommend you to other costumers. Word of mouth is basically your only form of advertisement right now so you need to get it/keep it positive.

Edit: i was just thinking that you prolly aren't trying to start up a buisiness, but more just selling your comp for money...in which case try to get as much as posible for it, and (somewhat) ignore what i wrote above.
