Looks like only 5-10% gaming improvement for discrete GPU... Very small. Here is a some reviews. http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/cpu/37989-intel-core-i7-3770k-22nm-ivy-bridge/http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/cpu_mainboard/intel_dz77ga-70k_and_core_i7-3770k_review/1http://www.hardocp.com/article/2012/04/23/intel_ivy_bridge_processor_ipc_overclocking_reviewhttp://www.anandtech.com/show/5771/the-intel-ivy-bridge-core-i7-3770k-review

Yeah seems like a pretty mediocre improvement. Very little reason to update over Sandy Bridge.

It's less capable in oc'ing compared to SB too, so if you are cool enough to overclock, you are still better off from a gaming standpoint in getting SB. Oh Intel...what's with the temps!?

I don't think anyone ever believed going from Sandy Bridge to Ivy would be worth it. In my opinion these two new CPUs perform just as expected.

I thought It would because it is 3D. Isn't 3D supposed to be much better?

I think intel has been slacking because AMD's cpu's are isignificant right now and not even anywhere close to intel. Infact intels $40 cpu the celeron g530 @2.6 ghz is faster in single threaded applications than AMD's fastest cpu @ nearly 3.6ghz. Its a sad sad situation we have in the cpu industry.

Not real 3d just 22nm finfets.
Brand new process with new technology. Obviously it will take them a little while to tweak the process but as it matures expect slightly better than usual steppings. I would expect something end of Q3 or early Q4.

Seems like it OC well too... I mean 4.6Ghz on stock cooling for a 3770K... sounds good to me.
