Check out Mass Effect 2. Someone already mentioned The Witcher, so I'll add Risen to your list.

Few RPGs have been mentioined, so i'll go ahead and say Dragon Age: Origins.

BFBC2, Stalker, Risen, Drakensang, Ego Draconis 2, Titan Quest, The Witcher, The Last Remnant, Neverwinter nights 1-2, KOTOR 1-2, Dragon age, Mass effect 1-2, Torchlight, Fable. That should keep you busy for a while :P

Morrowind and Mafia 1, old games but they are some of the best.

I second Dragon Age. You'll have alot of fun with it.

I recommend Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines at some point.
