Jagged alliance demo

...is finally out. First impression: Amazing. Graphics is great, game mechanics is great. Seems like this is a worthy sequel. I think i'm going for a pre purchase on this one. Any opinions?

I have no clue how to even beat the demo mission.

Demo sucked 100% as a JA game, way too changed from JA2. Should not be named in association with the JA franchise.

As a stand alone game, it was just ok. Not really better or worse than any other game that's tried to copy JA's goodness and failed.

I was wondering if I had gone crazy when I read what you typed. The demo sucked pretty badly, the tutorial was alot better then the actual level. The UI seems way too packed with stuff and needs to be simplified a tad. The graphics are good but the character pictures look terrible. The inventory system is more annoying then useful now (once again UI problem). Gunplay seems to be alot more luck and random based then JA2. Cover seems absolutely useless and as a ja2 vet i have no idea how to get the upper hand in combat now.
