hi all ..first my specs r EVGA 8800GTS 512 RAM g92 ..2 gega RAM ...my questions i have jagged edges not smooth edges with every thing around me ..boxes and walls etc ...i have the latest drivers for nvidia i always play with AA 4 ..which means better edges ?? !!! i find it in most games call of duty airborn ,medal of honor , fear ?? can anyone help ..thanx in advance aladdin74

Here's the solution:
This game is based on the Unreal 3 Engine (like Gears of War, Bioshock, and several others). This game uses a lighting technique called deferred lighting, which for some reason or another makes Anti-Aliasing impossible. (I know, it's ridiculous that a "next-gen" cutting edge engine wouldnt have support for something as basic as Anti-Aliasing. Anyway, Epic claims that they will update the engine to support AA in the future only in DX10 mode.
However, NVIDIA engineers have beaten them to it. If you are using Vista, you can enable anti-aliasing in the NVIDIA control panel. You need to select override application settings. However, it only works in vista for some reason on a Geforce 8 series graphics card.

microsoft didnt do it on purpose, im sure it was nvidia.[QUOTE="aladdin74"]and if i increased the AA inside the control pannel shall i increase it too inside the game ?? or will that decrease the performance ??[/QUOTe}
The AA you set in the Nvidia Conrol panel you can set to either : application Controled , off, Enance app, ovverride app.
Increasing your res would help also.
Its your nvidia settings if anything.
