I tried out the demo and here are my thoughts, take them as you want:
I don't know how to put it, but something felt like it was missing from that game....
I don't enjoy doing little things that are required to progress a game forward, like you have to on some console games. For instance, when you're decending down the man-hole and you have to press the correct direction button, otherwise you fall to your death or you get the crap beat out of you. Leave that kind of game play for the dumbed down games released on consoles. Don't insult PC gamers with things like that when you port your game....I applaude you for your efforts to keep the players involved some way or another instead of doing cut-scenes, but it's just not something I feel applies to PC gaming.
The graphics look nice and it ran great on my PC with everything maxed out.
The characters you controlled felt slow, compared to the enemies that moved with grace and flew across the screen. I'm used to being able to keep up with enemies in FPS and not feel like my attacks or my ability to follow enemies are hindered, just to add difficulty to the game.
The control set-up was easy to use and I didn't have any issues with it.
The atmosphere of the game was designed well and the overall setting was ok.
The AI of your comrades pretty much sucked. For example: I could be shooting at an enemy and my companion would clearly jump in my path of fire or, they'd stand there and take bullets from the enemies and act like nothing was happening; they wouldn't even move or try to find cover.
In all honesty, I might pick this up in the bargin bin, but I wouldn't spend anymore then maybe $15 on this game.
I'm glad there are those that like the game, but I'm just not one of those guys that cares too much for it.
