so......good and bd things about it ?

It has a good story but run of the mill gameplay with too much quick time events as well as horrible AI. Their checkpoint save system didn't earn it any points either.
If it's less than $15, go ahead and get it. It's a fairly unique game in that it's EXTREMELY creepy. The gunplay is fairly simple and the friendly AI is pretty terrible (they'll die a lot and you'll end up playing the healer most of the time). The quicktime events come out of nowhere and you'll almost always fail the first time (luckily it saves right before each one). Swiftstrike5All this... but they really rushed the ending...like they didn't have any space left on the DVD....
switching among squad members and using their abilities...this is the best part of the game; story is quite well thought out, guess an original literary source helps. it's also a quite pretty-looking game if you can runs it at high setting.
The team mates, the enemies, the shooting, the squad control, the level design. Of course this was only the start of the game...skrat_01
later there are new variety of enemies, but more or less the same; however, all the cool things about teammates, squad control, and "not just" shooting all come after.
but since you actually "hate" the start, there's no telling whether those will help you like the game or not.

Pretty much, and its very rare that a game puts me off so much. I should give it a proper go, I am missing out many of the mechanics and much of what the game has to offer; so my opinion atm is highly skewed. It was written by Barker and you can sense it everywhere.. the story is unusally deep for this kind of game with unlocking of people bios, game art etc.. it actually worked for me, that's why I finished it few times.
The thing is that main character dies at the beginning and he has the ability to posses anyone from the squad (every guy in squad got a gun and some ability and they are all badass antiheroes).
There are 4 chapters. Each in a different timeline with new enviroment and enemies which keeps this game fresh for the whole time. Imagine serious sam or prometheus type of game but with a squad which you can give orders to.
Even when you are outside the game is quite linear, sound are ok, music is great, graphics is extraordinary if you compare it to others (really good inmo, especially enemies). AI is stupid but if play on hard it will be challange anyway.
There are minisequences where you only press buttons and character you possess is doing something video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DC9z_uDMptk and that my man is the main reason why this game own others so easily.. because of the feeling.. did you played fahrenheit? That's what I'm talking about!
The downsides? I don't know.. lenght prehaps? Not much of a challange if you are hardcore gamer. And linearity, the game could have been much more if they would implement something else then corridors and rooms.. it's just too narrow.
The game is pretty gory but not in a weird sense of the word... the Roman arena is incredible and so is the orgy palace... I can only reccomended it because of the FEELING, that's right you feel the game in your skin, you feel every character you control, you feel the action and you definitely feel the story..
edit: To summarize it: Mix Blood 2 with left 4 dead, spice it up with Barker's pen and you will cook Jericho
