On Topic: Make sure your video drivers are up to date, try reinstalling, or see if there is a patch.
Alternatively, you could try randomly clicking on buttons and try and get to a settings menu. (though that won't help if that is blank too)

Actually gamespot doesn't really sell them. They allow digital purchases of some games through TRYMEDIA. You would have to talk to their tech support I think you might need to water cool your machine Just take a bucket of ice cold water and dump it on the cpu. This should help your grayfax pwn

Do your other games run fine? Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "this version". Are there like expansions or something?
I also purchased the game and I am having the same problem too! The buttons are just blank! Do I need to register a GFW Live Account to play this game?

I am having the same issue. It is a really issue. As far as the versions are concerned. The patches does not recognize the version of the game I have and thus prevents patching of the game.
actually its not that bad of a game if you get really bored, I have it installed but I have the deluxe version, but then again I also cheat my little butt off on the game, I mean really who would pay for me to sell them corn for $6 million a bushel and each cow I sell off for $2 million.....I really have no life
