Joypad Configuration For GTA SA

OK, I bought the game about a week ago. I use my xbox 360 controller (witch I read, is supposed to work fine). The problem is that only the right analogue stick works, this means I have to use the keys (8,6,4,2) witch is not ideal when I'm trying to look around. I can move fine though.

 I was wondering If anyone has a solution for my problem, thanks a lot.

Use KB+M for on foot, and controller for vehicles.  That is the ONLY way to play GTA games.

Or dont use the controller at all!  Honestly, thats the best part about GTA for PC; you get to use keyboard and mouse!  That and the graphics look better and you can make your own radio stations.

Yeah but there is no way you can enjoy the driving / flying parts of the game as much with KB+M.  Just like there is no way to enjoy the on foot parts as much with controller.  Thats why you use both!

Yup, use that. I had the same problem until I stumbled upon it. I've used it and its easy and great, now only if it was that easy to configure all games like that.

Your problem is trying to use gamepad, which sucks in GTA. Don't.GTAero

Definitely, the smooth camera control of the mouse makes high speed driving far easier (and therefore, more crazy and therefore more fun). And combat with a pad. Eugh. Auuutooooaaiiiimmm.

It may take a while to get used to, but you'll enjoy the game far more in the longrun if you play it the way it's supposed to be played.
