@TIGERLIONX: No it's single player only. If you want online play then look into preordering Star Wars: Battlefront. I played the beta and it was a lot of fun and I have it preordered myself. It comes out in a week and a half. Runs and looks great on lower end PC's.

CS GO, L4D2, BF4, Borderlands 2, Bioshock Infinite.

Quake Live & TF2 are free on Steam.

All these games don't require much power to run them.

It's best to use notebookcheck.net for laptop specs. Here is a reference for games on the R5 M230:

It falls far short of my GTX 660m and I consider mine to be borderline obsolete for newer games. I can get Medium on Far Cry 4 at 1366x768 and 35 fps. But, that's it. Forget TW3 and newer games.

http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-R5-M230.108655.0.html

For games playable on an R5 M230.......at Medium and 1366x768, 30 fps

  • World of Warcraft
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution
  • Diablo III
  • Dishonored
  • Dead Space 3
  • Star Craft II
  • Grid 2
  • Total War: Rome 2
  • FIFA 14
  • Sims 4
  • F1 2014

Not sure if you've played these games already but they're definitely worth it and will run fine on your laptop.

FPS:

F.E.A.R.

Bioshock

I see you are playing other genres as well so here are some good TPS and RTS games: Other:

Mass Effect 2

Command and Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars

Red Alert 3

You're not gonna be able to run anything newer smoothly. Maybe at very very low settings but that's about it. Your graphics card is barely better than having no graphics card at all.

@TIGERLIONX: Mods usually make games run slower. Avoid most mods. You're best bet is to just try out demos on Steam. Many games have demos. Look in the demo section, try to find games with good graphics, and see how much you can get out of your system. Go here...

http://store.steampowered.com/freestuff/demos/

And click most popular. Try the demo for Dying Light, Mafia II, and Payday 2. Dying Light has pretty awesome graphics. Download that demo and then tweak the graphics settings in the game and see what you can get. Good luck.

I'd recommend:

League of Legends (no brainer) or DOTA 2 - F2P

World of Tanks or Armored Warfare or World of Warships - F2P

GTA 5

Civilization 5 or Civilization Beyond Earth

Skyrim

Minecraft (no brainer)

Recently got myself back into eve online. Played for a month a year back quit, but came back a couple of months ago, managed too find a great group of people to live out in null (Player owned space). I can't recommend this game enough. It's for sure not for everyone and the begining fo the game for new comers can be a hard one compared too most games but I can tell you for sure it's worth the time and effort.
