Just bought HL2:DM from steam and i can say is WOW!

I have to say the is the best deathmatch style fps game ive ever played, dont know why i waited so long to get this

althoguh its kinda dissapointing how few people play this game, only bout a dozen or so servers show up for me

this topic may be kinda poitnless , but this games the sh1t! and more people should be playing it, its a nice break from all those hours of CS

Really? Because I think it's the absolute worst game I've ever played online. Play the first Call of Duty.

Havent played hl2: dm in ages...but god i loved every minute...and sure the original COD is a great game...as far as a shooter goes...and especially for back then...

but you cant beat lobbing a file cabinet into someones face

in fact...as far as WW2 goes...we probably would of won the damn thing a lot quicker if we'd just randomly threw furniture and things at eachother at higher than average velocities

HL2 DM is my multiplayer game of choice...until Quake Wars is out.

It takes so much skill and concentration...it's way more rewarding than playing easier games.

I've really only found it fun when I've joined with a bunch of friends to mess about on.

I remember getting everyone to try and jam the fan up in the prison map with what ever we found, then some muppet comes along and turns it on.

Grenade hot potato and plasma ball tennis are good for a laugh as well.
