..would this be ok to play games on,games like the original crysis and black ops,bad company 2? I doubt it will run the new battlefiels 3 when it comes but perhaps on low settings?i would appreciate your feedback as i bought this over a standard quad core Pentium but it cost me double. TIA

The processor and RAM are both more the enough to run the lastest games on ultra settings. The GPU hower, is definitely the bottleneck in the machine. It can handle game like MW2 at medium to high settings at ~ 30 FPS but games like Crysis are best played on the lower settings. I found this chart for the 425M and it tells you pretty much everything you could ever want to know about it including game framerates at different graphics settings. I hope this helps!

Also, it will most likely be able to play Battlefield 3 on medium to low settings without a problem.

Thank you for that,its appreciated. Would I be able to replace the GFX card to enable it to be better in that respect? its just i have no option but to purchase it now i ordered it but i don't mind spending a little to replace the gfx card? if at all poss? thanks again.

No. It will be a built in gpu.
