You are trying to play it on a laptop with no dedicated graphic card. All of the graphics on that machine are being run through your CPU via the GPU on the i5. It's not a powerful GPU at all and it probably does not have the compatibility to play Fallout New Vegas. Even if you could get it to run it wouldn't run well.
Did update your video drivers?
Did you download it from Steam. Â If you didn't did you download and install all the patches for it?
[QUOTE="sleepingzzz"]I did not update my video drivers because I had gotten my computer 2 months ago. I dowloaded the Ultimate Edition (from http://www.thepiratebay.sx/ because I had already bought the game for my PS3 and I just wanted to add a few mods) and I had switched out the FalloutNV.exe and the FalloutNVLauncher.exe because it had given me an "Application Load Error 5:0000065434". I then ran the launcher (Which worked perfectly) and when I clicked Play, the game came up and I saw the first 3 seconds of the game then it gave me a black screen, followed by a "program is not responding" message.Did update your video drivers?

Consider buying the game instead so you don't run the risk of having a game that either does not work or hides some kind of virus or malware.Did update your video drivers?

Yes, I'm thinking also just to give up and give Fallout 3 another chance (I only tried out Fallout 3 on my friends PS3 and I got bored quickly by the game because I died so many times.) but if someone can possibly help me run this game I won't have to spend money just to fill in the satisfaction that I wanted out of this game.Good luck with that game, i never could get it to work on my PC.

I never had a single issue with FO:NV on my PC but, then, I actually BOUGHT my copy. Imagine that.
P.S. Nobody is going to help you fix your pirated copy.

Please take note that I have already bought this game for the PS3, twice actually, because I had lost the first copy of the game and I wanted to play it again. I just want to feel the experience that PC gamers have now that I do have a PC that can run this game. I have already spent about $120 just to play this game on my PS3 ($60 for one copy and $60 for the other). It's not that I just want to play the game and I don't care about Bethseda, which I do love Bethseda Softworks and I have bought The Elder Scrolls games since Morrowind came out in 2002 (I have also downloaded Arena and Daggerfall from their website). If you guys can't help me I understand, and thank you guys for trying to help OR even criticizing me for downloading the game just to get the game then and there. I'm just glad that you guys were willing to help and I would feel the same way if someone illegally downloaded a game also.[QUOTE="Squeets"][QUOTE="IAAGguy"] Yes, I'm thinking also just to give up and give Fallout 3 another chance (I only tried out Fallout 3 on my friends PS3 and I got bored quickly by the game because I died so many times.) but if someone can possibly help me run this game I won't have to spend money just to fill in the satisfaction that I wanted out of this game.IAAGguy

The good people you want to thank for this glorious game is OBSIDIAN ENT, from the minds that brought you Planescape and Fallout 2.
And they are one of the few developers that should recieve every penny for their game played so get to it and I'll help you.

Having a PS3 copy doesn't entitle you to a PC copy you dumbass. That's why you buy the PC version.
This game isn't by Bethesda Softworks. Bethesda Softworks suck, especially in comparison to Obsidian.
That's not drawing any sympathy from anyone.
How do you expect anyone to know what is wrong with the game if you're using a pirated copy? It could be full of friggin trojan horses and that's why the game doesn't boot up for all anyone knows.
