the full game is really good, I'm about 50% through it. It's a nice change of pace from all these FPS/RTS/MMO games we've been getting. Its very well optimized and has great controls. Only thing i've run into is a glitch were you get stuck between a wall and the boxes you can move.
I liked the first tomb raider, I played it first on PC then on the PS1. Every Raider after that just didn't have the magic. Some games just need to be original, and should have never became a series.
tomb raider legend (got it free with my graphics card) ran terrible on my PC (it was playable but nothing special) then i tried this demo and the game runs great with everything cranked way up (AA, textures etc.)
Yeah, it came out around 1996 If I remember correctly. I didn't play it though, so I'll try Anniversary myself when I find some free time. The first Tomb Raider I played was The last revelation in 1999.

The system requirements for this game are no where near so high as in Legend. Also, you may have had next-gen graphics turned on. They aren't in the demo.
The first Tomb Raider game (from 1996) is one of the best PC games ever made IMO, and its about time we had a remake of this classic. It was one of the first 5 PC games I ever had.
