...and now I am going to treat myself to a game on Steam. I have been following games the entire time I was in school, but only really played World of Warcraft and Dragon Age Origins.

What are some of the best games that I missed say 2 or 3 years ago? I ask because these are the ones I will most likely find discounted on Steam. Thanks for the recommendations!

blops i believe is on sale all of the mid week (tues - thurs)

and on june 24th expect a HUGE steam blowout sale (also known as the summer sale) id expect to see gfwl ramp up their game as well.. perhaps some 10 cent-1 dollar games again which would be pretty hawtsauce (last year around then they had stalker soc, deux ex IW, AoE3 for 10 cents & gears of war for 1 dollar :) )

Grab the Witcher 2. If you like strategy get SC2. Portal 2 is also a must though short.

Portal 2 for a first-person puzzle game with excellent humor (also, get Portal 1).

Crysis 2 for fun alien-bashing shooter, and Crysis 1 also

Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II for squad-based strategy,
or Supreme Commander if you want to build bases.

Masters of Business Administration. I was working at the same time, so I was taking only a class or two a semester - hence the 4 year plan.

Lucky you! =P Two years of grad school ended up costing roughly the same as four years of undergrad. And I went for my master's right after the bachelors! :(

Total War games if they weren't said. You may want to look into Stalker, Mass Effect, and for Heavens sake if you haven't get the orange box if you don't have it/haven't played Half life 2

don't worry man, its going to pay off. Sure, you'll be in debt for a decade or two, but you'll be living comfortable and working a job that others would kill for.
