Today Just got a pair of Duorbs for my SLI'ed 8800GT's. They cool quite well but the memory heatsinks dont stick on to well(had to use a dab of superglue on each to hold.... just enough to hold them.) I used some OCZ ultra silver thermal grease also on the gpu. My idle temps went from 56,58C to 51,52C. I was like this cant be right so I tried A few games That was when I had the shock! They never went pass 60C before they easily went 75-85C even with the fan speeds up as the temps go up with rivatuner. Also found out that my first card thermal compound was hardening so it was a good time to upgrade the cooling. Another note about the noise from the fans, to me sounds alot less than my other stock ones at 60% fan speed Im happy with my buy.

Nice. But you can always turn up your GPU's fan. That will solve your overheating problems.

Well I had the first 8800gt fans they sound like a hairdryer above 60%. I had rivatuner controlling my fan speeds as the temps went up with the fan speed all the way up to 80%.

You also have to remember one your card has a smaller die(less power used&heat) also its a dual slot cooler. Plus Ive noticed that in Vista Gpu temps are lower than in XP by up to 5C for me.
