Just got WoW!?!

So I saw this game a billion times and though maybe I should give it a try. Get home load it up and BAM...My girlfriend sits down and starts playing it 9 hours later she gets off and go's to bed..I was so stunned I just went back to playing socom on the ps3. I just wanted to know before I got into it to far has anyone else played this game have any suggestions. Or wanna join up I joined horde on frostmane and my yahoo is mercetheshooter87@yahoo.com

My suggestion is:

Don't.

Not a negative post to start trouble, but my serious tip. After playing for around 3 years I can tell you that looking back it's was the most mindless thing I ever did. No skill is involved. Anyone can be good at it, it's just a matter of time invested.

You gotta look at your life and make a choice whether to play this game. I've seen friends I will probably never see again because of this game, but I see plenty successfully balancing this admittedly addictive game and everything else. Haha it's too late for your girlfriend though...wud03

Yes... You may as well kiss your girlfriend goodbye, because shes already found another man. And by that I mean, WoW is currently satisfying her in ways shes never imagined before. Defidently better then you could ever dream of doing. :) All in good fun, just kidding ofcourse..

Here are my three tips:

1) Play the field with the classes. See which best fits your playing style before you commit to one.

2) Join a guild. They are great sources for information and help with quests.

3) Have fun! Play because you want to, not because you "need" to.

Honestly, quit before you start. Uninstall the game before your girlfriend gets invested in it. Im not just being a negative nancy either, its really not worth the amount of time you will devote to it.

I agree, only because I've been there, done that. But I know he will continue playing WoW anyways. And the story goes..

Assuming you only have one computer, you better start investing in another one and buy another account for yourself or your gf..

How do you quit something if you haven't even started yet? :?

it is a fun game till you get to lvl 70 then all you do is run around like an idiot tring to look cool because u have just wasted about... 43 (game played hours , the real life time hours gets to about 1 month) hours of your life getting to lvl 70 and about 70$
