It's smallish, but he could run it in the short term...at least until he's ready to upgrade to a secondary drive.

depends on what your doing. i run a single 160 gig and ve still got 90 gigs not used

I figured money was an issue, from the other components you listed. Don't worry, it'll run games quite well. Do you plan to overclock it at all?

yes the cpu has to be oc'ed to not bottleneck the 8800gt.

most of the money was from X-mas.i only worked $300 of it.

and i think 160 should be enough for a while becasue ill only play games.
