Heres A Nice Barebone kit(You need OS and DVD Drive Though). http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5605767&CatId=332- $1000
But this is also a good deal too. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16883227179&cm_re=ibuypower-_-83-227-179-_-Product
weak cpu, not enough ram, crappy mobo.Get this:

For $1000 I'd go with something a little like what I've got in my sig. You can get 8Gb of ram DD2 for $200, a 4890 for $200, a Gigabyte MA770UD3 Mobo for $70, a phenom X4 945 for $180, a 500Gb Western Digital Blue for $55, a coolermaster 500 watt power supply for $50, a decent gaming case for $90, and a generic DVD drive for $20. Shove in some sort of windows and you are around $1000. These prices are Canadian Dollars too, so that means it's probably cheaper for you and therefore you can get whatever monitor you feel like.
[QUOTE="smc91352"]smc91352you know what? I'm feeling too lazy to edit. Someone should change mine to get him 4GB DDR3, a better cpu, less gpu, etc. Just like fatcat13sep said.
weak cpu, not enough ram, crappy mobo.Jamiemydearx3yeah; I know that. But thanks for editing it
I thought the Barebone kit that I found on Tigerdirect was a deal because nornally its 1200+ ifyou them bought seperately, and its $999, Plus theres free shipping on Tiger for purchases over $100.

If you don't agree with my post (most won't), fatcat13sep has a good idea.
[QUOTE="ahmedkandil"]I thought the one that ravenguard posted looks pretty good...smc91352really? His had a monitor and the OP said that the budget does not include the monitor. I like what fatcat13sep was thinking. For a $1000 budget that includes the monitor, it looks good methinks.
Revised due to misinterpretation of request :P

I had a budget of $1000 including the monitor and I thought your other one was great. Thanks for the help mate![QUOTE="04dcarraher"]I thought the Barebone kit that I found on Tigerdirect was a deal because nornally its 1200+ and its $999, Plus theres free shipping on Tiger for purchases over $100.smc91352I don't need to tell you I belong to the school of thought where video cards are EXTREMELY more important than other parts (see post above), but there is a compromise. If you don't agree with my post (most won't), you fatcat13sep has a good idea. Not any more CPU and GPU go hand in hand anymore 6+ years ago that was the case not now. Games are getting more and more complex and need more cpu power for calculations for AI, Physics, etc. why do you think when someone pairs up a low end cpu with a high end gpu and tend to get lag, or up to 20+ fps less then someone that has a better cpu. Plus having a better cpu allows you do things faster and lets you to upgrade less over time.
[QUOTE="04dcarraher"]smc91352that's why I also think fatcat13sep and ravenguard90 had nice recommendations. They do dont me wrong but, getting a $180 motherboard that you can crossfire later, $180 case, 1Tb hdd, like i said it you were going to buy those same parts as the the barebone serperate it would cost you $1300. So its a deal in its own way, you get the better case & motherboard over the better gpu, but later on crossfire that 5770 and get better performance over a 5870.
