So how does the keyboard and mouse combo work in Anniversary as opposed to a gamepad? This is the main reason that's still holding me back on my purchase of said game for the PC. I have no need for a gamepad for the PC and I'd rather not get one simply for this game. The PS2 version doesn't really tickle my fancy either since I'd like to enjoy the graphical fidelity of the PC version. As for the rumored downloadable episodic content on XBL, well who knows when and at what price. So this leaves me with the PC version, but like I said, I'm not entirely sold on the control mechanics for such a game.

So for anyone who has Tomb Raider: Anniversary for the PC, let me know how it controls.

Why not just download the demo and find out for yourself?  Only then will you know whether you like it or not.

TR1 controlled great using a kb+mouse, but it was more grid-based and didn't utilize analog sticks like this remake does. In any case, I think it'll work just fine. If you own a 360, the wired controller is compatible with the PC so you can always go that route.

Ive played legens on both an xbox360 and on a the system i purchased it on, the pc. And i cant see why a controller should be better since its extremely easy and fun to play with a kb/m, the camera with the mouse is superb and easy. But yeah download a demo if you dont know.

Works just fine. The camera itself (NOT the mouse) is kind of erratic though.

Try the demo out. I find the kb+m to work quite well. This is my first Tomb Raider game that I have played, and i was able to figure out things easily. I am gonna either pick up the pc version or wait to see if the wii version does well.

TR: L and TR:A work very well using a keyboard mouse.. and the STEAM versions of both games are comparable to the Disk versions.. (I bought the DVD Version of Legends and repurchased it via STEAM n tossed my DVD disk.. I hate using disks..lol)

Glad to know, since that was what I was afraid of. Yet another poor console port (RE4 anyone?).

I personally am not a fan of the kb+m setup, Legend was better for me. :P
