For the past few days my Logitech MK300 keyboard and mouse stop working after windows 7 updates. When I restart to configure the updates it gets to the windows 7 login screen and the keyboard and mouse are unresponsive and don't work. I have tryed switching USB ports, but still the problem persists. I have a Dell keyboard and mouse that I have tryed and they work fine it's just my logitech stuff that doesn't work. I have to keep doing system restores to get them to work, but when I shut my computer down at night it does the updates again and then my Mouse and Keyboard don't work in the morning. Does anyone know how to fix this ?? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try this, Unplug the mouse and keyboard you are having issues with. (uninstall any logitech or whatever the issue M+KB brand is, from your program list)

Use the set that works.

Update your rig.

After this is done. Restart your rig. All using the same set that works.

After you have everthing up and running. Plug in the (issue related) mouse and keyboard and see if windows does its' thing.

Look for drivers on their site for the latests ones!

If you have issues with windows not finding the new mouse and keyboard (after they are plugged in and you tried to locate them). Try this. Get a disk of the Windows install of the windows that is on your pc.

Put it in the drive, and run the USB composite install.

After than I don't know what to tell you.
